Capital Bank announces expanded team of mortgage originators |
- CEO states mortgage rates are ‘potentially the best of our lifetime’
Raleigh, N.C. — June 25, 2009 — Capital Bank announced the expansion of its mortgage lending services team with the hiring of ten new mortgage originators across the state. The new hires include: Robert Stens, Greene Street branch in Fayetteville; Teresa Mansell, Six Forks Road in Raleigh; Richard Dunkerley, south Asheville; Wendy Buchanan, Glenwood Avenue in Raleigh, Lori McElroy, Hickory; Chris Caldwel, north Asheville; Sandra Heath, Green Street in Fayetteville; Joshua W. Dodson, Pittsboro; Rhonda Smith, Ramsey Street in Fayetteville; and James Harford, Cameron Village in Raleigh.
Capital Bank is also rolling out a media campaign to tout the bank’s rate offerings as well as their 24-hour loan pre-approval process. “Current mortgage rates are potentially the best we may see in our lifetime,” said B. Grant Yarber, president and CEO of Capital Bank. “We understand that finding the right mortgage is just as important as finding the right home and encourage all those considering home ownership to take advantage of the opportunities available to them now.”
Capital Bank’s team also guarantees the ability to work with its customers to lock-in a rate within 48 hours, a convenience required by many mortgage seekers. Qualified first time home-buyers purchasing any kind of home – new or resale – are also eligible to receive up to an $8,000 tax credit through the beginning of December.
